The Department of Textile and Fashion Design of our Faculty held an online event titled “Artificial Intelligence and Design Applications in Collaboration with DeFacto” on 23 June 2026, aiming to support students in developing their knowledge and skills regarding AI-assisted design processes.

Coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Arzu Evecen, the event brought students together with Sezgi Beşli, a member of the DeFacto Design Team. During the event, the use of artificial intelligence technologies in fashion and accessory design was discussed, and sectoral experiences as well as current design approaches were shared with the students.

Following the presentation, students had the opportunity to develop their own design ideas using AI-supported design tools. The event concluded with a Q&A session and an exchange of views among the participants.
