The Department of Cinema and Television at Çankırı Karatekin University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture has achieved a significant academic milestone by receiving accreditation from ILAD. The program has been accredited for a two-year period, valid between March 9, 2026 and March 9, 2028, thereby certifying the quality of its education at the national level.
This accreditation confirms that the department meets established standards in terms of educational processes, academic staff qualifications, infrastructure, and alignment with industry requirements. It also reflects the department’s strong commitment to sustainable quality assurance.
With this achievement, the Department of Cinema and Television has become the first program in the field of Fine Arts to receive ILAD accreditation, positioning itself as a leading and exemplary institution.
Assoc. He noted that the process was conducted in line with the principles of transparency, participation, and continuous improvement, and that the accreditation serves as a strong motivation for future goals.
We extend our gratitude to all academic and administrative staff, students, and stakeholders who contributed to this achievement.
